All connections between the indoor and outdoor units were carefully concealed within ductwork as they exited from the ceiling space.

To ensure efficient water drainage, two drainage systems were installed from the indoor unit and safety tray, directing water to the external gutter. The installation process included meticulous placement of ducting, branch takeoffs, zone motors, and air plenums throughout the ceiling space, facilitating seamless integration with the indoor unit. A return air grille was positioned in the upstairs hallway to improve the system’s airflow.

A dedicated electrical sub-circuit was created, extending from the switchboard to the outdoor unit, which featured an NHP isolation switch conveniently located next to the condenser. In the upstairs hallway, a MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed, allowing for straightforward temperature management directly linked to the zone motors.

An Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was positioned beneath the indoor unit and linked to the nearest stormwater downpipe, facilitating efficient drainage. The system underwent thorough commissioning after installation to ensure optimal performance.
